Latino Community Association
invites you to our
On April 21, 2017, about three hundred people will come together in support of the Latino Community Association’s mission - and we hope YOU are among them.
This being our third annual Gala, we are planning a couple of exciting changes to improve your experience. We will be hosting a VIP plated dinner for a select group of 50-60 people from 6-7:30pm. All of our sponsors and VIP guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, complementary drinks, special performances, a live auction, and a guest speaker.
This will be followed at 7:30pm by a masquerade ball featuring unique Latin American-inspired small plates, a no-host bar, a wonderfully unique silent auction, and a live Latin dance band playing a variety of rhythms like salsa, cumbia, merengue and bachata. The night will also include some special surprises that highlight and celebrate the cultural diversity that the Latino Community Association strives to bring awareness to in our community.
Latino Community Association (LCA) is an essential connecting point for our immigrant community to ask questions, have letters translated, get help making phone calls (interpretation) and negotiating payment plans (advocacy). We help families pay their bills, file their taxes, work through legal issues, find work, improve their English, gain Citizenship and access new opportunities. We give our clients the time to be heard and understood. We also provide volunteer opportunities that bring people together across cultures to build a more cohesive Central Oregon.
